We did it! With your generous support, we surpassed our goal of $45,000 and raised over $56,000 for Sacajawea Elementary at our Spring Auction on Saturday night. Thank you for making the night a HUGE success!

On behalf of the entire Sacajawea community, please accept our sincere gratitude for your contributions to this year's auction. In so many ways, you each gave big to bring it to life.

Whether you volunteered your time to put on the party, helped our children create art for the auction, donated something to be auctioned, or gave during the evening, thank you. Your commitment to Sacajawea enables the PTA to enrich the educational experience of every single child in our school.

We'd like to share a few stats about this year's event.

  • Over 58 volunteers worked to make the auction happen, from organizing logistics to making desserts and everything in between.

  • We sold 91 tickets and had 125 attendees, a record for our auction!

  • We raised more than $56,000 dollars from more than 65 families!

  • We consumed 110 empanadas and 60 caipirinhas — YUM! And we danced just the right number of group dances...one!

Again, from each of us here at the PTA: Rachel, Ara, Matt, the rest of the Board, and us, your Auction Team, thank you for a wonderful night and your generous support. At Sac, we are small but MIGHTY!

Sincerely,

Charlene Shanahan and Mimi Fontenelle
