Join us on Tuesday, September 2nd to help us celebrate the start of the 2025-2026 school year!

We'll meet on the upper playground from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, and we'll have (free) pizza and fun. Come have a bite, see old friends, and meet our newest community members, too. Please bring your own water bottle to help us minimize trash.

On the lower playground. There will be Ice Cream. There will be awards. There will be voting for our budget and exec board for next year. :)

The Equity Team is hosting a Sacajawea Family Meet-up on May 3rd at 2pm. We will all meet at Maple Leaf Park Playground. There will be light refreshments and lots of fun! This will be very casual and informal. We want to bring the kids together to play so we can connect as a community!

The Parent Racial Equity team invites students and their families to join us in the cafeteria Thursday April 3 from 6-8pm for an author event and book swap. We are excited to host author and illustrator Robert Lui-Trijillo who will do a presentation and stay after for a book sale and signing. Bring a favorite book that represents your family and/or culture for the book swap, and come hungry - dinner will be provided!

Join us and other SPS parents on November 19th as we rally to support all four schools on the closure list, including Sacajawea, before the next school board meeting, when Superintendent Jones will give an update on the school closure plan. Please wear Red for Education or your Sacajawea gear. The rally is in front of the John Stanford Center at 3:45pm and will last approximately 30 minutes. Together, we can use our power to demonstrate our opposition to the district's closure proposal.
